Taylor sliding.

This is from the little kids waterslide area. Taylor loved this "big" slide. Notice how she streamlines her body to go as fast as possible. :) Morgan also liked this slide, but would land much more daintily and try to keep her head above water.

Spring Break

Spring break is over and we have all returned to school today. It is kind of nice that Michigan has such a late spring break. We had a relaxing week of cleaning, painting, and getting other odds and ends done around the house. Then we met Bek and Deb at a resort north of Chicago called the Key Lime Cove. It had just opened and was really nice. We arrived on Friday around 3 and had plenty of time to play in the water park that night. That turned out to be great as the park just kept getting more and more full as the weekend progressed.

We stayed at the resort most of the day on Saturday then went for a little shopping and dinner just down the road. We spent more time in the waterpark on Sunday morning before checking out. The girls and I left for downtown Chicago and had a few hours to kill after we checked in for our Amtrak ride home. So, we visited the Sears tower (the "tallest building of ever!"). I relied on the kindness of strangers some as a mother with three little kids walking around downtown Chicago (and taking several different trains for transportation). While at the top of the Sears tower a couple asked if they could get a picture with my kids as they were so cute, so I figured that was the best I could do to return all of the favors people had done for me. :)

Taylor and Morgan did a nice job on the trains and played lots of games together. I was so proud of their good behavior.
