Remnants of summer--August

In August, after our big family vacation, we did get in some more beach time, park time, and also a trip to the county fair. Taylor and Morgan are showing their gum in the first picture--that's the strange yellow thing in their teeth. For the fair, we met up with some friends on kids' day and the girls both got bracelets so they could go on as many rides as they (well, really I) could take. When Jordan got too crabby, we called it quits. Morgan was nice enough to let Taylor have a little more time to get in a couple of rides that only Taylor was big enough to ride. (You can tell from the terror on Morgan's face going down the big slide that this wasn't too hard for her to do.) We also had some friends over for dinner one night and Bracken built a nice bonfire. The kids loved the smores.
